I'm Linked!!!

For the past few weeks I've been waiting for the International Department to link my Blog to their website and now I'm linked. Maybe, just maybe this means I'll have many many many more readers!!!!! right...

Well, the trip is coming fast. Approximately twenty seven more days and I shall be on a journey to Japan.

Visa - Check
Registration - kinda check? (I have to go through some lottery thing. Once I arrive for orientation, I've got to provide proof of health insurance coverage and then I'll be entered into a Lottery to choose my classes... I hope I don't get stoned to death in this lottery.)
Health insurance - not quite
Plane Ticket - Check
Finances - pretty much Check!!!

I am truly excited to experience as much as possible over seas. It's hard to imagine that only five months ago I was running around like crazy trying to gather the paper work necessary to apply for the program. Then there was the wait. When it seemed like I would not get accepted, I was accepted. When it seemed like I couldn't gather the money for my plane ticket, I did gather the money. When it seemed like I couldn't gather the money for the trip, I did gather the money. Everything has seemed to fall in place quite nicely... I never gave up and always believed I would accomplish my goal to FINALLY study abroad. Now, it's only a few weeks away and I've taken care of all the hard work.

I fully expect my next post to be a couple days before the trip and hopefully a post right before I board the plane... Till then.
